2nd Struggle [Video] -- Cherrydumb City
[Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo he made it (somehow) to Cherrygrove City! About a week ago!! But that doesn't seem to matter now, right? Rin's feeling good - real good. His arm doesn't even hurt, even though it had been wrapped in those towels 'mom' gave him. Since his early morning arrival a little more than seven days ago, he's seen a Nurse Joy about his arm and gotten himself patched up real good. Now, as of this lovely afternoon's broadcast, he's just taking a walk by the city's sea coast.
And what a lovely view of the sea it is! The pokémon aren't singing anymore and Rin's been itching to get this gym challenge completely underway.
But why is he still in Cherrydumb? And why the seaside? Well...]
No one said this place had dinosaurs. [He should have guessed it would have, since it was based on a video game and all. Rin turns the camera just a smidgen - and there he was, in all of her glory... a large, blue, swimming dinosaur.] The Nurse said it was mine after I threw that pokeball at it. I did the same thing to a bird not too long ago - it was trying to eat Poochy's food.
[Poor Pidgey was still a little mad about being attacked by a pokeball, but it was getting over it! Just, you know, inside of its new pokeball. But that was another story. Rin seems a little unsure as he he poses his next question:]
The dinosaur - Blue - looks healthy and happy but it needs water. And I can't [physically] carry a pool with me [anymore]. ... How can I keep it hydrated while we're going to Violet?

It doesn't really like being in there. It's been swimming at the beach ever since I caught it and it doesn't want to be anywhere else. [His goldfish needs a bowl ;n;]

Teaching it to Surf might be good, but you can't use that outside of battles yet. I guess if you can find a cart with a tank that can store water enough for the Lapras and get a Pokemon strong enough to carry it around, that could work.
...Or you could just tell it to bear with the 'ball for a few more days until you get to Violet.

I could try that cart idea. [but he won't be able to pull it... Sigh, the troubles of being stripped of that super strength...] But it might be easier for Blue to just get over it.
[Dinosaur Blue is affronted by the accusation! And declares it to be unfounded! Rin has a few words for it...] You're still talking? Unless you have a suggestion, you're pretty much stuck there.

You in a hurry to get to Violet, though?

Yeah. I heard that's where I have to start the gym challenge. ...And it's much bigger than Cherry and Bark, so I might see someone I know.
[Like his brother or his friends from back home. It was explained to him, but he can be in denial for a moment or two...]

I can wait~. It's not like I have anywhere else to go. [Yep, totally taking up this offer~. But the but is still there...] There's supposed to be a cave somewhere up north, right? Any chance it's closer to Violet than this city?

Hmmm... [thinking, thinking. it's been a while since he's been to Violet.] Well, the only caves I know close to Violet is the Union Cave, and that's south... And I guess you could consider the Well as a cave, too. That one's right outside Violet!

Union Cave... those have the rock snakes, right? I'll keep an eye out for that Well too. What about the one near Cherrygrove?

Yep, that's the cave. I... don't think there's a cave near Cherrygrove, though. The town was a bit boring so I didn't really bother to explore all that much.
ooc; also i am dumb, the slowpoke well is near azalea not violet oops orz dark cave's the one outside violet. >.> i'm sorry!

It's only boring because it's small. [Noooot gonna deny that it's as dull as a rock, though. But it's peaceful. He likes it.] Are you coming by car?
ooc: it's okay! ♥ you're not dumb or an idiot ;u; there's a lot of caves early on and they all blend together after a while! /pats

How can you fly? [HE OBVIOUSLY LEVITATES -- ...then again. Why can Bunta still fly but Rin can't lift as much as he used to? ;A;] That's impossible!
