[Oh Ron... Rin's in that odd position where he wants to avoid every person in the world. Yet he does want to open up, but he's not sure who to talk to so avoiding people it is. Except Ron. He won't do that to Ron. They were friends.
He doesn't arrive to the courtyard exactly at their appointed time but he makes it there looking not much different than usual. Perhaps a bit more put off, but only so much that someone who knew him would notice.
Or maybe it's much more obvious than it might initially seem since Rin doesn't wave with as much enthusiasm as he usually displays when he spots Ron.]
