7th Struggle [Action/Video] New Bark Town ... Again

[SUN. BRIGHT, SUNSHINEY SUN. It's so bright, it's almost as bad as getting blinded by snow. But that lasts for only a minute before the gear swings into focus on a face.

A very familiar looking face. Or maybe he wasn't familiar at all and those bright blue eyes, wild black hair, and somewhat sharp teeth were a new and unusual sight.

That person with the familiar looking face had an equally familiar looking Poochyena that had, lovingly, sunk her jaws into his skull. He's dealt with worse before, but he obviously wasn't too happy about his situation.

The Poochyena on the other hand, looked absolutely thrilled to be gnawing on her trainer once more.]

She's been doing this for fifteen minutes... [Fifteen minutes before he was just getting kicked out into New Bark and realizing that he had not dreamt up his time in Johto.]

... How do I make her stop? I can't feel much of my head anymore.

You get used to pain after a while if you're dealing with it a lot.

[Why no, he didn't actually answer Rin's question. Fancy that. He's from a culture who's philosophy could be described as "The strong survive, the strongest rule." He's pretty much the physically weakest one in the group, so he'd rather avoid looking any weaker if he can.]

I'm Domri Rade.

[He isn't sure if Rin is excited about him, Fleshripper, or both, but he seems like a fun guy.]

[Domri's wiki page. Follow the References and External Links. Though a lot of the cultural details I'm drawing from various other articles that discuss the Gruul Clans and red-green color philosophy in general that aren't linked from that page, but it'll show you the source material for Domri.]

So what do you usually do where you're from?

[Tibalt was one of the poor Planeswalkers who didn't get much info given out about him. Domri got relatively lucky. Still wish that we were given more of him, but at least we got something. It was enough for me to fall in love with him and get a muse at least. ^_^

And murder decks are fun~

Domri can't help but be a little impressed at that, considering the demons that he would have heard of.]

You're a warrior then? [Best way to defeat demons: smashing.] You had a chance to fight many yet?

[A knight? Slightly less awesome. Knights are for the other guilds. The closest thing the Gruul have is warriors who hitch a ride on various beasts.]

You have a mount?

[Every deck has to start somewhere, right?]

[Sort of, because you can't be a knight without a mount, right? Just that he was picturing a horse or a giant bird or something, not a...]

Nay-koh-what?

[Domri's getting mixed messages here. The size-changing cat is actually the part he has the easiest time getting a handle on.]

You're a knight who fights demons, but you have a familiar like a wizard and you have a demon who helps you?

I guess that makes sense. I can do that kind of thing too with animals. That's what I do back home; I summon the animals I've met and get them to crush anyone who tries to take over Gruul turf. I can make them stronger and faster too!

[Domri more or less matches the speed of Rin's excited talking.]

I usually don't need to summon anything. There are always strong animals nearby in the Rubblebelt. But I can summon a lot at once! I like every animal, even the ones that aren't strong, but all you can really do with them is eat them. I like wurms and ragebeasts though. They're really strong! Maaka are too. I haven't found a dragon I can summon yet - there aren't many of them and they're hard to get close to - but one day I will!
