I talked to Francis a while back and he suggested making a savory menu that would compliment the main menu.
[No he thinks yourskills are good enough to compete with the nation of France. He isn't going to let Rin know that little fact. ]
I don't have time to experiment myself so I'm leaving things up to you and Francis. Sadly Botan can only make sweets.
